If you see a product mentioned on this page (other than in clearly identified Ads) it means it is judged to by me to be a good choice for building a house as described on the CarnationConstruction.com web site. Sometimes there are multiple competing products that all meet the requirements. The list is dynamic in that when other suppliers become available and have been properly evaluated and found suitable, they will be added. Sometimes a problem may be found with a particular product or supplier that may mean that it is removed from this web site.
Recommended Building Products
A high quality 12" high block that is particularly nice because the internal webbing is on 6" centers thus making it good and solid. My preference is to use the 8" cavity fixed web version.
Used to form the concrete for the footings and it stays in place to form a foundation drainage system. My preference is to use the 10" version, even although many would consider this overkill.
